Bottom-of-the-pit vulnerable
I'm angry. Everything inspires thought and observation but my well has been
drying up for a while now. The past has pretty much slipped away from me.

Whoville Be Next? The Top Five Seuss Stories to Film!
A very interesting read: Horton's Hullaballoo.
Clothes
This week I bought some great stuff from Benetton. I need to quit shopping because I need to keep myself out of Benetton.

I saw 'Duma'
My expectations were high. So I saw Duma last saturday. But either I was missing something crucial or the film just wasn't my type.
In short: Young Xan (Michaeletos), living a non-traditional life on his parents' ranch in Kenya, takes in an orphaned cheetah cub as a pet. Quickly, Xan and Dooms, as the cub comes to be known, become inseparable friends. Based on Cawthra Hopcraft's picture-book.
Campbell Scott is reasonably gratifying. Alex Michaeletos is cool too.
'Duma' is the best movie from Carroll Ballard, but it's not a masterpiece.

Thought-provoking material
Interesting stuff at Ben Maller.
The outcome of Washington Redskins games has correctly predicted the winner of every U.S. presidential election since 1936.
'Finding Forever'
Just bought and listened to the new Common album. If you are into hip-hop this
album is something for you. The album strikes a chord everytime I play it.
Gimmick
I've just bought a wireless unit since I really needed the latest
wireless geek toy. I now can work up in my room, or I could work out on the
deck, and not have to have wires everywhere. Now I can walk around around the
house and the yard with my laptop and still be connected to the internet. Oh
yeah!

'Two for the Money'
Two for the Money was rather gratifying. The actors and the director did a cool job.
